Cookie policy

Last updated: 11 October 2026

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. We keep them to a minimum. We don’t use advertising cookies, and we don’t use analytics cookies.

Cookies that are always on

These are needed for the site to work, to remember your cookie choice, or to keep the site secure. They don’t need your consent.

  • cookieadmin_consent (this website, our cookie banner): remembers the choice you made in the cookie banner, so we don’t ask on every page. Lasts 1 year.
  • cf_clearance (Cloudflare, our website security): only set if Cloudflare needs to check that a visitor is a real person and not a bot. Short-lived.
  • WordPress and Wordfence login cookies (names starting wordpress_, wp-settings- or wfwaf-authcookie-): only for people who log in to manage the website. Visitors don’t get these.

Our enquiry form (when it is switched on)

When the enquiry form on our Ask for a founding place page is switched on, Brevo (which provides the form) and Google reCAPTCHA (which protects it from spam, using its _GRECAPTCHA cookie) may set cookies needed for the form to work and to stop spam bots. These are used on the Ask for a founding place page only, and we’ll list each one here by name when the form goes live.

Cookies that wait for your OK

None at the moment. We don’t use analytics, advertising or social media cookies.

If we ever add any (for example, visitor statistics), we’ll list them here first, and they’ll only be set after you click Accept in the cookie banner.

How to change your choice

  • On this site: use the cookie icon at the bottom of the page to reopen the cookie banner and change your choice at any time.
  • In your browser: you can delete or block cookies in your browser’s settings. If you block the cookies that are always on, parts of the site may not work.

More about how we use your information is in our Privacy policy. Questions: [email protected].
